To transfer a .com, .net or .org domain name to our servers you need to instruct the organisation where the name is currently parked to move it. The procedures vary from company to company but the wording below will work in most instances. Just copy it into an email or fax or letter, enter your own domain name where shown and send it. Once the process is kicked off it can take anything from a few hours to a few days before your name "lands" on our servers. You can keep an eye on the process by using the WHOIS lookup report on our web site. This tells you where the name is and what you are looking for is for the report to show your name on our dns servers.

and search for your name and when told it is not available press the button offered to see who it belongs to.
